Glasgow born and Berlin based DJ and Producer I.E has been making a name for himself in the techno and trance scene for some time now. His style leans towards the heavier sides of these genres intertwining heavier sounds such as gabber and schranz. Having releases a number of track on his own imprint Ismus as well as Space Trax, MITSU2000, EXTRA ENERGY and Wav:es, he has plenty more project in the works. I.E is the co-owner and label manager of the infamous Ismus project in Berlin. He also holds a residency with the Streck collective based out of Gothenburg, Sweden.

Next up in the Fast Forward Audio Series, we present: olesia  

olesia is a Russian-born, London-based queer DJ who goes in HARD. Think slamming techno that jumps from clean kickdrums to gnarlier beats of the early 90s, with the occasional jaw-grinding vocal thrown in at just the right time. Having played across the UK capital for Lobsterfest, Unfold, Riposte, Find Me In The Dark, Boudica and Inferno, she's navigated fluctuating crowds and various club settings, allowing her to expand her skill and ultimately hold the dancefloor in the palm of her hand. 

Co-founder of Technomate, she uses the platform as an event, educational, and podcast platform to champion and showcase international FLINTA (female, lesbian, inter, non-binary, trans and asexual / agender) artists. While Technomate garners an online presence via a residency on Threads radio and standalone podcast series, olesia curates each aspect of TM8 to nurture London's techno scene for the better. Whether she's organizing discussions with established artists as part of the TM8 .edu series or booking the next round of inspiring and emerging artists for TM8 parties, olesia is a true talent contributing significant value to club culture in 2022.

riko is a Hanover based music artist with a weakness for old-school techno and falafel. To define his own style of music, he launched his label named CEP Records in 2019. He started publishing self releases in a digital and analog way. His style of production compliments his sets with a flair of variation and many vocal based, high paced tracks that leave you craving to hear them on a large sound system.

The Paris based Frenchman has been kind enough to supply this weeks mix for our ismcast series. Lacchesi, co-founder of Maison Close, has been on the rise for some time now releasing music regularly on his own imprint as well as remixing for great artists such as Darzack. He has also dropped tracks which he has worked on alongside artists such as ABSL, Francois X and Mac Declos to name just a few.

The mix is just over an hour of bouncy, abstract techno displaying quite a unique sound which we absolutely love.
