My beloved granddad passed away in May. I couldn't shake the newfound feeling from this song as I listened in the days that followed.

A cover from the game 'FINAL FANTASY XIII-2', I wanted to conserve the melancholy feel of 'Yeul's Theme' but make it a bit darker, to reflect those feelings and give myself a chance to play purely from the heart.

Vocals and piano were done in one take, but separately. I'm by no means a producer or mixer. 

This is a song for those who live through sacrifice to secure a future for those they love.
