MEANING OF OM NAMO NARAYANAYA MANTRA
It is a mantra of Lord Vishnu. This mantra is also known as Asthakshari Mantra and first appeared in the 'Sama Veda'.

- Cosmic Sound of 'OM' : The primordial sound vibration which encompasses all of the universe, energy and consciousness.
- NAMO : Namo is derived from sanskrit word 'nam' which means salutations or bowing down in gratitude.
- Narayanaya : This word has complex roots - Nara means water and 'Ayana' means a resting place.. It is also a symbolic representation of our inner self.

Chanting this mantra leads to the experience of divine consciousness within us and a sense of deep eternal peace. As a means of humbling the ego, the Vedic tradition recommends reciting om namo narayanaya 108 times, twice a day for 40 days.

About Auditory Beats:

Binaural and Monaural Beats area  form of auditory entrainment. Most often binaural beats are used to help calm and quiet the mind and encourage more meditative or relaxed states.

Relaxed or meditative brainwave states are typically in the Alpha and Theta ranges. This is anywhere between 4 and 12 hertz. By contrast, normal waking states are typically in beta range well above that.

Moving into these meditative states typically helps to calm rumination, or over thinking and relaxes the nervous system,

Binaural beats are a form of auditory entrainment. They are rhythms or oscillations that are created by two slightly different tones. It’s the difference in hertz between these two tones create the oscillation, or “beat” 

For example if tone is created at 200 hz and mixed to one headphone (pause), while a tone of 205hz is mixed in the other headphone (pause) the difference would be 5hz (pause). So, in this case the auditory entrainment is 5hz, which is in the alpha range.

The mix of the two tones creates a “wah wah” sound or rhythmic oscillation. that sounds like this.

There are four dominant brainwave states. They are Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta. There is also Gamma state. Each state is associated with a state of consciousness.

For example: Beta is considered to be our common waking state of consciousness. Alpha and theta are more meditative states, and Delta is typically a sleep state. Gamma is a higher state which is also associated with mystical experiences or extreme focused concentration. 

Gamma may be accessed by first settling the mind into a lower and more meditative state. 

Listening to audio entrainment is intended to encourage us towards a particular state.

Studies have shown that binaural beats can be helpful with generalized anxiety disorder, stress and sleep.

The audio tracks can be used with headphones for the full binaural effect.. Or, they can also be used with external speakers. When using external speakers the oscillation become a monaural beat. This simply means the resulting oscillation can be perceived without headphones. Monaural beats are also effective for brainwave entrainment. So, feel enjoy these tracks with or without headphones.

This series can be used a few different ways. You could listen to the entire sequence in order from the highest hertz to the lowest for a long a progressive entrainment. 

You could also pick specific tracks and arrange them to your taste. For example, as a daily meditation you might use 3 or 5 tracks, for a shorter sequence progressively moving to a lower and more meditative  hertz range.

Or, perhaps create a playlist that repeats a lower hertz range several times to create a sleep track.

In any case, experiment and mix and match the tracks to your taste, and the desired result.

The heart chakra, or anahata chakra in Sanskrit, is located at the center of the spine at heart level. Anahata roughly translates to, “unhurt.” Accordingly, the heart chakra acts as the individual’s center of compassion, empathy, love, and forgiveness. This chakra governs one’s senses of trust, fearlessness, peace, generosity, gratitude, and connectedness, as well as change and transformation, healthy boundaries, depth in relationships with others, emotional control, and love for oneself.

The heart chakra has a feminine energy and is symbolized by a green six-pointed star within a 12-petaled flower. Elementally, the heart chakra is associated with air, and its mantra is, “I love.”

The heart chakra is special because it is the fourth of the seven chakras, making it the exact halfway point of the system and the unifier of the physical and spiritual chakras. By connecting the lower three chakras — the root, sacral, and solar plexus — with the upper three chakras — the throat, third eye, and crown — the heart chakra acts as the bridge between the earth and spirit.
