Just a bored musician writing from a few genres including blues, rock, metal, and a bit of industrial.  Always looking for vocalists for some of these if anyone out there is interested in collaborating.  

My biggest influences are Stevie Ray Vaughan, Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Nine Inch Nails, Alice In Chains, Boston, John Williams, Miles Davis, etc.

Isolate the Unknown is an American Heavy metal band from Charlotte, NC.  They formed in the summer of 2010 under the name Army of the Sun.  Not long after Jon, Brad & David began writing, they realized there was something unique forming in the music & within the band.  Eventually, they parted ways with 2 previous vocalists(Kenny Boggess(2014) & Skovy Patton(2015), mostly due to music direction and missed opportunities. With a new line up change on the way, they also decided to change the band name to Isolate The Unknown. In early 2016, not long after parting ways with the previous members,  they found metal vocalist, Joshua Berndt. Since then, they've worked with sound engineer Rob Tavaglione at Catalyst Recordings on their first 4 song E.P *Eclipse*, which was released August 20th 2017 on all major music distribution sites/apps. Isolate the Unknown, after taking a brief hiatus in most of 2018, returned to the practice room and began writing their first full length album *ieogenis*. In late 2019, they returned to Catalyst Recordings and began production with Rob.  On February 22, 2022, Isolate the Unknown released *ieogenis* on all major streaming platforms.  Isolate The Unknown is David P. McArdle - Guitarist, Brad Joyce - Bassist, Jon Price - Percussionist, Joshua Berndt - Vocalist.
