To give the days some purpose, me, Austin Basham, Jack In Water, Alex Kozobolis and Lila Tristram set ourselves a weekly isolation challenge to each create a piece of music using the same stems as a starting off point. It’s been a great way to stay productive & creative.

This week's stems to choose from consisted of a bunch of beautiful stems from Austin including textures, vocal harmonies, trumpets, banjo, and birds singing.

This week's stems to choose from consisted of a bunch of beautiful stems from Austin that I took in two different directions and didn't know which to follow so combined them both in a celebration of a beloved Sony cassette walkman that I got for Christmas 1994.

Week Three of the Isolation for Beginner's challenge: This week I chose the stems which consisted of a reverse vocal track, a banjo line, an op1 clip and some birds I recorded.

This project was born out of the desire to maintain creative community and a positive mindset throughout lockdown. Each artist was given the same set of samples and challenged with creating anything they wanted within a week.
