Storiavoce termine sa série de [Cours d'Histoire] sur les mythologies grecque et romaine. Dans une première partie, nous avons vu d'où viennent les mythes, comment se construisent t'ils et quelle furent leurs place dans les sociétés romaines et grecques. Ensuite, nous avons vu comment les mythes sont intimement liés à l'environnement et quels sont les liens que les Grecs entretenaient avec l'écologie. Dans une dernière partie, nous nous penchons sur la question des liens que Grecs et Romains entretenaient avec leurs mythes en reprenant à notre compte l'interrogation de Paul veyne: les Grecs croyaient-ils en leur smythes? Pour évoquer ces questions, Christophe Dickès reçoit Laure de Chantal.

- Est-ce qu’il y a des différences entre la mythologie des Grecs et celle des Romains?
- Peut-on créer un mythe?
-  À quoi servaient les mythes ?
- Peut-on parler de propagande mythologique ?
- Etc.

Notre invitée: Normalienne et agrégée de lettres classiques, Laure de Chantal dirige la collection Signets / Belles Lettres. Elle a publié plusieurs ouvrages sur la langue française et la mythologie dont La Bibliothèque classique infernale (2016, 29,50€) ou encore avec Jean-Louis Poirier la Bibliothèque mythologique idéale (Belles lettres, 29€). Enfin, elle vient de lancer la collection des Petits latins qui permet d'améliorer son français grâce au... latin.

The Assignment: Record the first third of a trio.

Step 1: This week’s Junto project is the first in a sequence intended to invite, encourage, and reward collaboration. You will be recording something with the understanding that it will remain unfinished for the time being. Your part will be done, but more will happen. Read on.

Step 2: The plan is for you to record a short and original piece of music, on any instrumentation of your choice. Conceive it as something that leaves room for something else — other instruments, other people — to join in.

Step 3: Record a short piece of music, roughly two to three minutes in length, as described in Step 2. When done, if possible, pan the audio so that your piece is solely in the left side of the stereo spectrum.

Step 4: Also, and this is important, be sure, when done, to make your track downloadable, because it will be used by someone else in the next Disquiet Junto project.
