En la amazonía peruana, los shamanes usan la palabra "ícaros" para referirse a los cantos usados durante los rituales medicinales. Sin embargo, estos no son sólo herramientas de curación, también se usan para transferir sus conocimientos ancestrales. Esta vez, el shaman Armando Cerrano (shipibo) comparte con nosotros una única compilación de icaros en este álbum, realizado en su totalidad por Muraya Producciones.

In the peruvian amazon, the shamans use the word "icaros" to refer to the chants used during their medicine rituals. 
This icaros are not only a healing instrument because they also bring the ancestral knowledge of the amazon cultures.

This was a live jam accompanied by the incredibly talented Suyana (@veerle-kumpen) performed for the beautiful people at Heart Culture Festival in Austria. None of this music was pre-arranged, I had groups of clips and created the arrangements out of those clips on the fly in response to the energy of the moment. The vibe was incredibly special, people really tuned in and offered us the opportunity to dive deep into experimentation and to let things flow effortlessly from the heart. These loops are parts of tracks I have also arranged and released.
