Kurat Karu has always loved music and the way it brings people together. Starting his Djing journey in 2016 and production journey in 2021 by blending melodic elements and deep heavy basses he is able to connect people through sound. Influenced by artist such as Charlesthefirst, Supertask, Pink Floyd, Tupac and many more his sound is heavy yet very emotional at times, with drum patterns very reminiscent of hip hop and a dubstep flow that’ll get the floor moving.

It feels good to release some tunes! I've been thinking a lot about the boundary between sound design and melody/harmony, and  'Decorating Time' explores that idea. It represents a lot of what I have learned in the past year and explores some techniques I've been diving deeper on.

This one was in the works for a while, went through a lot of iterations, and then sat on the shelf for some time when I got sick of it. I accidentally pitched the whole master down one day and heard everything from a new perspective that I really liked, and that's the version being released today.
