Italian duo Shokë return to Solid Grooves Raw with their latest single, ‘Bring It Back’.
After debuting in late 2020, Italian pairing Shokë have quickly found an impressive list of supporters, including Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, Ilario Alicante and Solid Grooves Records co-founders Michael Bibi and PAWSA. First appearing on the main label in early 2022 with ‘Coast To Coast’, the duo recently returned with ’N.5’ on sister imprint Solid Grooves Raw to close the year, and it’s there where they return for their first material of 2023 as they return with their latest track ‘Bring It Back’.
Armed with metallic percussion licks, rumbling bass and wonky synth stabs, ‘Bring It Back’ is a moody and impactful cut that builds to unveil a series of trippy vocals set to stay in the minds of listeners and dancers long into the night.

Venice-based rising DJ/producer Marco Rubin has been impressing the industry's finest with his energetic productions, including Loco Dice, Joseph Capriati, and The Martinez Brothers. Despite debuting just last year, he's already made a swift impact on Amine Edge & DANCE’s CUFF and Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations sub-label Hottrax, hinting at a promising future. Now, as he prepares for his second release on Jones’ groove-heavy imprint, Rubin drops three thumping house tracks across his 'Time To Dance’ EP.

“These tracks were born from the idea of capturing the pure energy and adrenaline you feel when you're on the dance floor. I wanted to create tracks that evoke that perfect moment when the music transports you, the rhythm becomes irresistible, and you truly feel it's time to dance. My inspiration came during nights in the clubs, where the connection between the music and the crowd is palpable, and it's that sense of freedom that I aimed to translate into sound.” - Marco Rubin 

‘Time To Dance’ kicks off with jacking grooves, crisp beats, and vocals that instruct movement on the dancefloor, while ‘Percussion’ pulses with hot, bouncy beats and fresh, vibrant drums layered over a slick, funk-filled groove. Closing with deep, pulsating tones and electrifying clatters, 'Electro Diva' crafts an irresistible, menacing blend that grips the senses.

Light My Fire (Bas Beikes Extended Remix)

After a whole month of silence, 40% returns with DJ Doggo (aka Diogo from Disco Extendes) and the double single "Ésselou / Latido Ao Luar."
The result is a pair of shuffly garage / 2-step cuts that bounce with fluffy, heavenly chords, drop for the glued sub, and a punctuated, low-slung, octave-doubled bassline that keeps tails wagging and heads nodding in sync.
As always, the magic lies in the bark... and even when the Doggo says the track is wrong, you can’t help but think the production is just right.
