- electronic music from the black sea - 

Изток is a collective for electronic music led by 4 international creatives based in Varna, Bulgaria. The collective aims to diversify and expand local electronic music subculture and to create inclusive spaces that encourage the growth of a sustainable dance music community. All events embrace an intimate vibe and quality sound with zero tolerance for any kind of discrimination, taking inspiration from hometown rave scenes in Berlin, Dublin and Munich, while always staying true to a full DIY approach. The community-based approach allows for a spectrum of events spanning from club nights to DJ workshops and collaborations with multiple cultural institutions around the city, that have allowed  Изток to grow over the years and become a vital part of the city's musical landscape.
