it Records is thrilled to announce an exciting addition to our roster, and first cab off the rank for 2015,  Taipan Tiger Girls! This three-piece instrumental outfit is composer, producer and all-round electric statesman Ollie Olsen, who has teamed up with experimental drummer and synth obsessive Mat Watson (Other Places), and feedback guitar droner Lisa MacKinney (Mystic Eyes). Together they make long and beautiful walls of noise, intricate and psychedelic; delicate and tough. Taipan Tiger Girls have been thrilling Melbourne audiences in recent months, and their debut album will be out in a super-limited edition pressing of only 100 LPs at the end of July through it Records.

New members of the It family; industrial electronic duo Armour Group are about to release their debut album 'Purge' and it is available for pre-sale order NOW . 'Purge' will be a joint release between It Records and new label Trait Records. 

Brutal minimalism in a wall of corrosive electronica, they evoke the end of times and raise existential panic, all the while enveloping the listener in a strangely comforting blanket of static and feedback.

Armour Group are experimental, atmospheric and conceptual, their music rooted in the traditions of the power electronics/death industrial genre. Through their use of extreme minimal electronics accented by samples drawn from cult cinema, broadly referencing serial killings, murder, disaster, misanthropy, immoral acts, relationships, love and betrayal, they aim beyond brutality to incite feelings of euphoria and affirmation, as well as evoking the impending demise of our current culture and natural surroundings.
