Inspired by the reception of the recent re-release of the early CHAOS UNLIMITED mixtape sessions which started with TSUYOSHI - MATSURI 1 & 2 and MARK ALLEN - PINCH OF PSYCHEDELIC from 1994-95, I have created a series of mixes called THE EARLY (FORMATIVE) YEARS OF GOA TRANCE exploring tracks from 1993-1996. The Sound of Trance/Techno & early Goa Trance that was the parent of what we today call Psy Trance.

We did not know it then but the roots of Goa Trance were formed by the Techno Trance pioneers of the early 90's. So join me on a journey through the history of Goa Trance.
