Brazilian born, British bred, Itala developed her love and passion for music from the early age of 9 when she found a mixture of Shirley Bassey, Nina Simone, Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole in her mother's box set. 
Her varied musical influences and soulful voice fused with modern day artists from rnb, electro pop, house and dance music resulted in an accumulation of sounds, beats, rhythms and vocal abilities which she has developed into her own style.

Her Latin roots provide the catalyst of a fiery and energetic performer as well as making her an amazing dancer who fuses both Latin moves with modern day jazz.
Singer and songwriter Itala collaborated with fellow artist Jason Taylor in the production of her house single 'Burning Kisses', out on iTunes and Amazon, with remixes by Sam Roqwell & I Sancho.

Her ventures in the land of football and samba unraveled tremendous talent from various producers and as a result various collaborations and hard-hitting pumping dance tracks.
These collaborations begun with 'Kaleidoscope' artist/DJ and Producer Ramilson Maia and extremely talented DJ and Producer Mad Zoo in writing and performing "Set me Free", originally a house track, Mad Zoo remixed it to produce an amazing drumnbass track for the 21st century.
Itala's recent collaboration with Brazilian renown DJ and Producer Deeplick (Vanessa da Mata, Ai, Ai, Ai) resulted in the creation of two new outstanding electronic/house tracks, 'Beautiful Place' and 'Cosmic Seed' which fuse the energy of electronic music with the eclectic rhythms of Brazilian music.

Itala worked alongside Brazilian renown artists such as Carlinhos Brown, Claudia Leite, Gabriel Pensador, and Marcelo Mira to name but a few, performing with them on stage, providing backing vocals and featuring in songs, such as Carlinhos Brown 2012 album, 'Mixturada Brasileira', whereby Itala features in the hit songs, 'Seu Cabelo e Bom', 'Desperate' and 'Loved You Right Away'.

Back on British soil, Itala's recent collaboration with UK respected and talented duo 'Three Sixty' in writing and performing one of their outstanding tracks, 'Dokana' created a brilliant new electronic track to loose yourself into,

'Dokana', will be out on release on Maquina Music on 21st January 2013.
