We pull the curtain on 2014 through the second volume in our "All Stars" compilation series. We're proud to look back and excited to look forward to what we like to call 'high quality eclectic electronic music' - a quite elusive term for what we've been looking for and promoting since day one.

We always conclude that each year has been the biggest and most important in our artistic development and 2014 is no different. This year we've changed pretty much everything - from our logo to our approach - bringing 3 new imprints to life as to further encourage the growth of each sonic pallete among like-minded artists and followers.

We showcased our selection of the best 100 tracks released by and within the Origami Sound collective of artists and labels through the "2 Years" compilation, which also marked the end of free/donation-based releases. 
"All Stars: Volume 1" celebrated our fanbase growth and was a testament to the variety of music that we became passionate about over the years.

"All Stars: Volume 2" brings together 5 previously released tracks and 5 exclusive contributions into a mission statement that is better heard then read. We're looking at a really classy 2015 on all fronts with lots of surprising releases from both new and highly established artists, most of which will also see a physical release.

The Amsterdam-based collective https://soundcloud.com/weareinbetweenworlds present their track off the 2nd Volume of https://soundcloud.com/ededberlin's Eclectic compilation series on Moodmusic Records.

Involved in the Inbetween Worlds collective is Apotheque, Bold Moves, The Wolf Upstairs and Kimou - a group of friends who all share a passion for music. The intention of the project largely circles around the vision shared by the group, which exclaims that 'imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were - but without it we go nowhere.'

On August 6th, the group will all be performing together at Dagdromen Festival. Their performance will take place in a bedouin tent that is titled - Fata Morgana. Set as the collective's debut release, Fata Morgana is the theme for their performance - a track exclusively designed for the stage. This is how everything came together and how the track's idea was born.

Receiving early support from artists such as Thugfucker, Blond:ish, H.O.S.H., Patrice Bäumel, Finnebassen, Adana Twins, Lehar, Theo Kottis, and more - Fata Morgana sets the tone for the second round of Ed Ed's well-received compilation series. Its one of those rare compilations where the selection is diverse, but equal in energy. This time around, Eclectic 02 is a 7 Track compilation - also featuring peak-time and after hours anthems by Night Talk, SPQH, Petja Virikko, Pammin, and contributions from label heads Freestyle Man and Ed Ed himself.

The compilation will be released August 19th via Moodmusic Records.
