George Koutalieris is a solo musician from the Greek capital of Athens. Known for his work as the guitarist of well-loved Greek pop rock outfit Ριφιφί through the 1990s, Koutalieris has found new renown in balearic circles for his sinuous balearic/indie/lo-fi sound.

In ‘Silent Messages’, Koutalieris showcases his peculiar fusing of guitar and digital synthesis with four original compositions which render like moving paintings, void of singular perspective; timbres appear and disappear, ending before they’ve begun, spun from the silver twilight of Koutalieris’ nonchalant musical vision. 

With George as writer, arranger and principal player, this £P is a moment that evokes the spontaneity of solitude, abdicating the conventions of generic narrative to deliver an introspective, unusual EP that delights in the joys of the prosaic.
