There’s a mystical place in the heart of Rotterdam, oddly tucked in between the corporate buildings. Bright light boards and red velvet carpets, it's a small cinema that still breaths its old-school grandeur. That’s where the Cinerama Adventures project was born, lead by its staff supervisor DJ Overdose. The result are two tracks that go from modern flavored freestyle to sleazy darkroom experiments, both accompanied by the instrumental versions.

We want to finish this compilation with the best production quality, with artists like Alessandro Adriani, Timothy J. Fairplay, Chino, Chupacabras, Leroy Se Meurt, Le Chocolat Noir, Univac and Adrian Marth. The a-side sounds like an late-80s industrial EBM cut, focused on playing in the heat of the club. The b-side, on the other hand, goes more towards Electro eighties, with weird sounds and a strong metallic beat- perfect for the adventerous working DJ. 200% club approved!

Dame Area are Barcelona-based duo Silvia Kostance and Viktor L. Crux. For labels like Mannequin Records, B.F.E Records and their own imprint/organisation Màgia Roja, the pair have shared their raw, distorted take on industrial, minimal synth, EBM and post-punk, characterised by propulsive rhythms and DIY sensibilities. It's no surprise that their live shows are also widely renowned, Dame Area's sound lends itself perfectly to the stage, and on the group's third album they translate a similar "assaultive intensity" to the release. The first of two twin LPs, Toda la mentira sobre Dame Area / All the Lies about Dame Area explores "an original seductive idea of pop, laced with avant-garde subversion" and sees the pair push the boundaries more than ever before.

We are proud to welcome back San Francisco based DJ and producer @sepehr-a
Sepehr Alimagham for his debut album ‘Shaytoon’. Drenched in nostalgia from his upbringing, ‘Shaytoon’ pays homage to 1970s Iranian albums that were on rotation throughout his youth. Eight tracks of twisted acid, left-of center electro, sludgy psychedelia, and things-you-can-maybe-call-techno are a few of the sonic elements found within. Regular listeners will find Sepehr’s signature perspiratory dance-floor vibe, but some songs also showcase a low-slung, cerebral approach. Sepehr's unique sonic palette carves an interesting space in the dance music world by harnessing the spirit of his cultural ancestors. The artwork pays tribute to ‘70s Iranian pop and funk albums with bold Farsi calligraphy and portraits by Sahra Jajarmikhayat. In relation to the music, the album cover creates a dichotomy much like Throbbing Gristle's ’20 Funk Jazz Greats’. Berakhs (Dance).

To kick off their new label project, The Hague's traumgarten launch Flowers that Bloom at Midnight, a 30-track compilation that brings together collaborators, creatives and visionaries who share their desire to explore rich dreamscapes through a passion for electronics. Featuring a diverse breadth of artists including Dazion, Pasiphae, Bergsonist, Anatolian Weapons and Sophie du Palais, the release moves with ease between a variety of musical flavours like ambient, electro, experimental and IDM. All profits from the release will be split between the Boat Refugee Foundation and Black Queer & Trans Resistance Netherlands, an LGBTI+ community and activist group countering racism, transphobia and homophobia.

In tandem with the release, traumgarten have also created a new interactive website for you to explore, which presents a catalog of dreams narrated through music.
