Chicago-born, based in Berlin, Clarissa, spent his teenage years digging true Wax Trax! records, later falling down the techno hole and cutting his teeth as a DJ in NYC. He now lives in Berlin, DJing acidic laced techno, EBM and wave, while leading a vinyl label and mix series called "Braid Records" which has already 2 amazing releases. He shares a mix of techno, a blend of industrial, electronic body music and dark wave. Enjoy!

Beaurees is an electronic project of Boris Zakharov, who previously worked under the pseudonym Zaax. Although the artist is not engaged in any public activity, but at the same time he managed to take part in compilations and release a couple of EPs and a full mini-album on the labels "New York Haunted", "Idlestates", "Diffuse Reality", "Body Musick", "Dead Chanel", "Flagelante". In addition to this, he periodically introduces us to his musical finds, having recorded several mixes for Fade Radio, Lyl Radio, and Mantis Radio. Not so long ago he released two EPs, including 4 versions of classic techno bangers from the 90s by Tuning Circuits, as part of his new project "Haag Tribunal" with which he explores the noisier, more powerful side of techno. In this mix, you'll be able to hear everything that inspires Boris, from noise, industrial to disco, electro, and synth music

Andi is a New York City-based DJ, producer, and the founder of the dark synth and industrial party, SYNTHICIDE. Her own aesthetic combines her devotion to underground 1980s industrial, EBM, and sleazy synth with dark techno and noise - creating an aggressive and dismal soundscape that is unarguably danceable. With her music she aims to challenge the expectations within the confines of this masculine genre, often focusing on the ideas of revenge and strength through a woman’s perspective. Last September Andi released the SYNTHICIDE Compilation V1.0 and her track “Object: Crucifix” - with the next instalment, V2.0, released early next year. She has several other projects to be announced in the coming months alongside an EP on VelenoViola.

TF #176: @velvetmay99 [Tears On Waves] - Italy

Velvet May is an italian and Berlin-based artist focused on Electronic Body Music, post-punk, industrial and Techno textures. The project was born in late 2018 and had his debut with “Vast As Black Night” EP released on his label “Tears On Waves” and that already received important supports from many artists of the scene like Ancient Methods, Phase Fatale, Paula Temple, Violet Poison, The Hacker, Philipp Strobel, Alessandro Adriani, NX1, Umwelt and many more.

Velvet May makes his music go around aspects like love, liberation and pleasure and he does it in the stark drama of his living mind. There a no simplifications, everything is translated without polishings and shades, but with respect to his real essence.
