With songs released on IDA, MMusic, Electrique Music, Electric Shapes, and Whypeopledance in her pocket, as well as upcoming material for Les Yeux Orange and label Needs, Anastasia Zems is conquering the hearts of a worldwide audience with her songwriting and vocals. Born in the legendary scenery of St. Petersburg, in her music Anastasia is chasing a counterpart to that upbringing, the tribal sounds of rainforests that she will take back to the busy clubs of the cities.

Zems started her love affair with electronic music literally in the womb since her mom was working as a nightclub admin at the time. This natural ease within the electronic music arena can be felt in both Anastasia's DJ sets and production.

Coming from a musical family with training in singing, dance, and musical theatre, Anastasia makes music as automatic writing, letting her impulses lead the way, with no apparent goal, and with only a tidy workspace prepared. She will pour a cup of acid run over the tribal cereals switch the tempo up and down, but the instinct-led first-take vocals will always be there, making her a devotee to the process. This vocal-infused signature production is ready for a stand-off with leftfield mid-tempo giants.

For her LAYER, Anastasia shows a lot of character within the before-mentioned tempo field. From seductive tunes, over harsh cyberwar soundtracks, to lunatics taking over the microphone, it's all there packed in a meticulous and challenging flow.

Bio Dark Matter:

Dark-Matter founder and resident of ColectivoSecreto takes his first contact in front of a cabin in the year 90 at age 16, versatile and curious has gone through such diverse styles as for example, it can be indie and techno, summarizing; He likes to mix.
Quit in the year 2000 practically everything that has to do with the scene, escaping addictions, bored and disgusted of everything revolves around clubbing in general, the years pass and as they say there everything returns, and the famous syndrome of The 40 cove inside, with experience, clearer ideas and feet on the mainland, returns almost 17 years later.

Compulsive analyst out of control of music in general, burns this stage of his life side by side on the darkest and darkest side of slowbeat, techno, breaks, electro, new age, always with that palpable lisergia that tempers his style and character , today in these parameters finds its comfort zone, always with an open eye without losing sight of the color palette that luckily today electronics has in all types of genres.

In the last two years he has taken his suitcase for a walk in cities such as Lisbon, Bilbao, Berlin, Barcelona, Girona, Valencia and booths or festivals as representative as Katter Blau, Razzmatazz, Laut, Garage of the Bass Valey, Ombra Festival, Nowhere Festival, etc ...

He dedicates most of his time to the insatiable search.

In March 2020, Curses would have been one of the main guests of the second half of the season. He best represented what we wanted from the new year, a mysterious sound linked to a not too distant past, but looking to an electronic revolutionary future.
Berlin-based Curses blends New Wave and Post-Punk with his ghostly vocals and guitars, punctuated with flashes of 80's EBM and New Beat.
Whether it's performing live at the late Andrew Weatherall's Convenanza Festival, or DJng in the main room at Circoloco DC-10, Curses manages to somehow bring his punk and new wave attitude to all dance floors small and big. Always keeping true to his unique take on the darker side of disco.
The debut album from Curses, 'Romantic Fiction' dropped on Jennifer Cardini's Dischi Autunno imprint in October 2018, launching his live act which brings the guitars, vocals and energy of the album to stage as a duo.
Curses has released a handful of EP's on labels such as Hoga Nord, Bordello A Parigi, Throne Of Blood, and his own imprint, Ombra International, and known for his live approach to remixes, incorporating  guitars and other instruments. 
A new album is scheduled for 2021 on Dischi Autunno.
Very happy to have him on board, for the first Podcast of the Year!
