Whenever I try to install Sierra, either from recovery or upgrading from El Capitan, I just get the error The installer payload failed signature check.. Is anyone aware of a fix for this? I'm using an offline installer.


I have tried to create a bootable installer for macOS Sierra to use on my MacBook Air that is broken and needs to reinstall macOS (The macOS X Lion installer that comes with the Macbook is broken and says it is unable to install additional components needed to install macOS).


I would like to update my MacBook Pro (2010) and Mac Mini (2012) to High Sierra and I want to do this from a full copy of the High Sierra installer placed on a USB flash drive but I cannot seem to obtain this by clicking on the download link on the App Store page for High Sierra. Every time I click on the Download button, I get a tiny 22 MB install file in my Application directory.


Yes, I've seen this article and another similar one on the MacWorld website but I'd rather not use a 3rd party software for this and, in my view, should not have to. Apple should have a way to download the full installer like they did with El Capitan and all reasonably recent versions before it. With 3rd part software there's no way to know if they haven't embedded some spyware or malware or whatever in their utility. And if this 3rd party utility does get the download from Apple then any Apple customer with Apple systems should be able to download it too. I'm holding out for an Apple-only solution. Sounds like Apple screwed up here.


Yes, the link keg55 refers to does not help. It takes you to an Apple upgrade page that has a "Get MacOS High Sierra" link on it that takes you to the App store but if you click on the Download button, all you get is the 24.5 MB mini-installer file. And note that mini-installer file cannot be used with the createinstallmedia resource to create an installer on a USB flash drive. The complaint is that the mini-installer is not a valid installer application.


Yes, I could do the updates by running the mini-installer and letting the files be downloaded off Apple's website but while the Internet is pretty reliable and the network (external and internal) is relatively reliable, the whole setup is not immune to failure and I would not want my upgrade to fail in the middle because of some network issue or some traffic disruption or timeout.


I have a suggestion. Go to the Applications Folder and see if the High Sierra installer is there. If it is drag it to the trash. Enter your password to trash it, then download a fresh copy of the macOS High Sierra installer and see if you get the whole installer.


Someone suggested that it might be because there are other full installers sitting in the Applications directory. In my MacMini, there was a Sierra full installer, a Mojave full installer, and an El Capitan full installer present. I moved these out of the Application directory to another location and then tried to download High Sierra again but I still only get the 24.5 MB file.


Those full installers by the way, were not requested by me (except for El Capitan) but auto-downloaded by Apple. So they have been downloading full installers to my systems. Just not the High Sierra one for some reason.





How is this relevant to this issue? I am not concerned with the updates. I can download the updates any time. In fact I have already downloaded the combo update for 10.13.6 (High Sierra, presumably the last update for that release of MacOS) from Apple Support. I did this on the assumption that the full installer download and upgrade might result in an earlier High Sierra version being installed and I would need to update it to the last/most recent level.


On the Web I have seen suggestions that you can download the full installer for High Sierra from something called the Apple CDN

Filming for

 took place from March to June 2005 at a closed-down shipyard of Hitachi Zosen Corporation in Onomichi, Hiroshima Prefecture. Approximately JPY 600 million was spent in building a 1:1 scale set of the forward section and the portside anti-aircraft guns. The starboard side, aft section, and the barrels of the A turret were not built since the film only required scenes on the port side. However, compliance issues with Japan's Building Standards Act prevented the reproduction of the 
Yamato's
 pagoda tower. Instead, photographs of the Yamato Museum's own 1:10 
Yamato
 model was used for post-production.[2] The interior scenes were made on a sound stage, but a hall near the set shows the various rooms and props reproduced for the film.


Yamato is bookended by footage of an expedition to survey the wreck in 1999. The decaying structure and its scattered remnants have been brought to life by the film and this approach provides a nice symmetry and ultimately closure. Also shown is the museum where many of the props and models from the film are now displayed and the memorial to all crew. With no DVD release outside of Asia, Otoko-tachi no Yamato can only be imported today and does offer the option of English subtitles including the special features.

 So, The Lost Vikings are very hard to play, let alone master, and it occurred to me most of us are giving builds and general tips, while most players want mechanical advice, so I am here to help. 
If you're searching for a specific build or advanced strategies, then this guide IS NOT FOR YOU. This guide is for the frustrated player trying to learn the basics, and when he tries to ask basic questions he is given a build and nothing of real use for him. I want to cover the basics of controlling the hero, teach useful basic skills and explaining their role in most situations
. I am by no means a pro, I play mostly QM and while I still have the level 40 beta portrait, I play very casually, so don't treat this guide like you would treat a pro's guide. Taking Mercenary Camps
 If you want to capture a Merc Camp, you should send at least 2 Vikings (or 1 Viking with 2 Viking Bribery stacks) to ensure you will take it, and having Olaf as one of them is recommended. Taking Merc camps is pretty straightforward: Go into the Merc Camp, attack it, win. Pretty easy, huh? Well, you want your vikings to be in a good shape afterwards, so you should use Positioning to have Olaf tanking the damage while Baelog hits all 4 and Erik focuses 1 at a time, when Olaf gets low wait for his passive to regenerate him to above 80% HP and have him tanking again. You should still follow the normal Merc Camp capturing rules like the Siege camps on Haunted Mines.

The Lost Vikings is a hero designed to soak experience. While many players decide to bring the three vikings together to the same lane, others decide to exploit his experience soaking ability by splitting them bringing one to each lane. This can translate to the fact that the team is not losing experience from any lane at all, and you can therefore agree with your teammates to push a single lane very hard, forcing the enemy team a response and maybe abandon some lanes.

Robin Hood

The idea to adapt

Blood money is, colloquially, the reward for bringing a criminal to justice. A common meaning in other contexts is the money-penalty paid by a murderer to the kinsfolk of the victim. These fines completely protect the offender (or the kinsfolk thereof) from the vengeance of the injured family. The system was common among Germanic peoples as part of the Ancient Germanic law before the introduction of Christianity (weregild), and a scale of payments, graduated according to the heinousness of the crime, was fixed by laws, which further settled who could exact the blood-money, and who were entitled to share it. Homicide was not the only crime thus expiable: blood-money could be exacted for most crimes of violence. Some acts, such as killing someone in a church or while asleep, or within the precincts of the royal palace, and corporal infamy[2] (rape) were "bot-less"; the death penalty was inflicted instead. Such a criminal was outlawed, and could be killed on sight or thrown into a bog in case of rape according to Tacitus.[3]


In Japanese culture it is common to give blood money, or 
mimaikin
, to a victim's family. Such was the case with Lucie Blackman's father, who accepted £450,000 as blood money for the murder of his daughter.[5]


Under the Korean legal system, it is common for those accused of both minor (such as defamation) and serious crimes to offer blood money (
habuigeum
, 합의금(合意金)) to the victim, and if accepted then the perpetrator is usually excused from further punishment. Despite being common practice, its use in high-profile cases does sometimes result in protests.[6]


In the Christian Bible, the term is used to refer to the thirty pieces of silver Judas Iscariot received in exchange for revealing the identity of Jesus Christ to the forces sent by the Pharisees and/or the Sanhedrin. After the crucifixion of Christ, Judas returned the payment to the chief priests, who "took the silver pieces and said, 'It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.'"[7]


"Shanghaiing" was the practice of the forced conscription of sailors. Boarding masters, whose job it was to find crews for ships, were paid "by the body," and thus had a strong incentive to place as many seamen on ships as possible.[8][9] This pay was called blood money.[10]

The spell blood money allows you to create temporary material components by damaging yourself. It's pretty clear how this works with standard action spells: You cast blood money, you get a component, you cast the spell using that component, and everything is all set. However, I'm not really sure how this works with spells that take more than one round to cast. As an example, could you use blood money to create components for simulacrum or permanency, which take hours to cast, or does blood money only apply to spells that take a standard action to cast?
