Lights Out

Number 20 in our weekly soundscape series. A little late this week due to the mashup earlier in the week.

Each week we create a track that is free to download and use in your projects under a creative commons license. Each track must be created in under 4 hours. This one took a total of 3.5 hours to compose and produce.

It is an experiment with a 4 chord progression on i - VII - VI - V

Deeper down

Number 21 in our Friday Soundscape series. This week we combined a string quartet with a Fender Rhodes, reversed piano and dubstep inspired rhythms to create this slow melancholic track.

This weeks free track is a dreamy piano based orchestral piece that reaches a climactic end by taking advantage of pounding drums and staccato strings.

Lucid Dream

This weeks free track takes influences from Burial, Mike Oldfield and chilled out post-dubstep.

We programmed off the beat rhythms using Native Instruments Maschine and matched this with treated piano melodies, haunting vocals, sub bass and plenty of reverb./
