"Dysfunctional Family Sayings & Consequences" unravels the echoes of childhood through haunting lyrics, orchestral textures, and courtroom beats.
Akiva David’s voice cuts through generational denial with a gospel-tinted fury — mourning what was lost, confronting what was said, and reckoning with the consequences left behind.

Each track is a torn photograph — falling, burning, healing.
Old sayings like “Family is everything” or “Don’t air dirty laundry” are dissected and reimagined through searing hip-hop verses, vintage pianos, and whispered Hebrew prayers.

This is Divine Imagination Radio: where trauma meets testimony, and every scar sings.

I really liked the idea of being "made of time" for someone. At the end of the day, time is all relative, and if you spend time with the one you love, it can seem like there's no such thing as time. The song is really about that - being willing to spend as much time waiting to be with the one who makes you feel like time doesn't exist. The lyrics are a bit of a call back and connect to my song 'where r u' which is all about waiting on 'the one.'
