'T A K E O F F' is the first official LP released by American Singer/Rapper/Songwriter Cyrus King, on the MXBRDS Entertainment imprint. The album was originally slated for a Summer 2017 release but after many push backs, the album was to be released on Independence day, 2018. Supported by 4 official singles (1 un-official); "#RBRGC", "Lose This", The Album's title track; "Takeoff", & "Imma Star" The LP shows Cyrus' newly found confidence as he serenades your ears with his punchlines. "Human Nature was released as a bonus track exclusive to the YouTube & Soundcloud streaming platforms. The Album's theme focus' on Cyrus' struggle to be taken serious as an artist. It also touches on strained relationships and confidence within one's self. CANDY LAND

Born October 30th, 1985 to a Black Mother & Iranian father in Detroit, Michigan; Music had always been apart of Cyrus' life. Since he was able to speak, he sang. Vocally training himself throughout the years, Cyrus began to obsess over learning how to sing better, figuring out where he could record, how he could record, who would let him record, being that at the time, he was 10 years old. in 2001, Cyrus' family moved to South Lyon, MI, where he eventually befriended a fellow Rapper/Producer, Timothy "Remi" Legleitner. Cyrus met Tim through his younger brother Scott. As Tim was coming into the families' basement, he heard Cyrus singing & asked if Cyrus had ever recorded music before. After brief conversation, the two began recording immediately, eventually adding Cyrus to the 'South Thug' roster, making him the only artist to sing.... & who would eventually begin writing rap verses. After gaining local notoriety & several failed attempts to properly campaign their catalog, along with other tragic events & life altering situations, South Thug eventually disbanded with everyone going their separate ways. Having little success gaining access to professional recording equipment, Cyrus managed to record several singles & release them over the years between 2006-2010, but failed to generate a buzz as before. In 2013, Cyrus met Lucas Weir of EP Productions & was added to the EP Artist roster, eventually recording 3 singles, "Gwap Gas", "Body Party 2 (Remix)" & "Alfred Hitchcock", & releasing them to overall well received viral success. Cyrus found himself at a cross roads with EP Productions & decided to leave shortly after. Rekindling his musical chemistry with Timothy "Remi" Legleitner, Cyrus requested a remix track for "Alfred Hitchcock". Remi produced, appeared  on & released the remix under the Major League Productions Imprint with little to no viral success. Having walked what he thought was the end of this very long road to musical fame & success, Cyrus gave up on all musical ambition & decided to throw in the towel as things just weren't happening in his favor. It didn't help that Cyrus, a gay male, was trying to break into the industry where gay is taboo and not accepted nor wanted. in mid 2014, Cyrus met Aaron "Mocha Jones" Todd, at the restaurant they both worked at. Aaron heard Cyrus talking about music in passing & became intrigued. A co-worker at the time was playing Cyrus' then local hit "Gwap Gas" & Aaron put two & two together, asked Cyrus if he made music, heard a couple songs & invited him into his home studio. Cyrus showed up that following week, walked in too Aaron & two other gentlemen, one who would become apart of the now formed 'Mitten Music Group', & another who eventually not make the cut, trying to figure out a chorus for the song they were writing too. Aaron asked Cyrus to come up with a resonating, catchy Chorus & also instructed him to write a rap verse, should the chorus be good enough. 20 minutes later, the song "State of Mind" was created & became the last track on 'The Mitten & Beyond Vol. 1', the groups first release under the MJ4D Productions Imprint, headed by Aaron "Mocha Jones" Todd. 'TM&BV1' was released on May 18th, 2015 & became an instant viral success. Hard Copies of the mixtape were mass produced & distributed by every means possible. The group would eventually release 9 more songs following the release of their debut mixtape, to outstanding viral success. Cyrus now stands next to Aaron Todd as co-president of MJ4D Productions & Art Director, as well as a featured artist on the growing roster.
