The enigmatic Tennessee-raised, Turin-based Yves Tumor presents a poignant new album, recorded between Miami, Leipzig, Los Angeles and Berlin over the past three years. 

Evolved from a diverse and prolific creative history under an expansive plethora of covert aliases via various forward-thinking labels, 'Yves Tumor' emerges as his most personal and matured incarnation to date.

With involvement across various artistic outlets expanding to fashion such as a visceral live performance for LA's Hood By Air earlier this year, the global artist has built a distinctly bold personal aesthetic both musically and visually as a performer.

Painstakingly written from pieces developed upon since 2013, the new record, titled 'Serpent Music', was initially composed as a soul record - based around delicate and emotive songwriting in various forms. It was a highly difficult project to undertake on both a creative and personal level, weaving thematic links through paranoia, social anxiety, and missing loved ones. "The songs come from a much more emotional and very vulnerable place... They're very close to me and I've been cautious of how I would eventually present them to the world." he explains. 

The album spans sonically diverse and richly-textured pieces, formed from live, organic instruments, samples and various field recordings. Dreamlike lo-fi psychedelia sits alongside broken electronic experimentations, ambient compositions between abrasive noise offer insight into a haunting otherworld. From melodic choral vocals and soaring synths, to screeching guitar riffs, dramatic spoken word samples and live drumming, 'Serpent Music' evidently moves through a strange and intriguing personal journey.

The album is mastered and cut by Rashad Becker at D&M, featuring photography by Daniel Sannwald.

London-based producer Cera Alba pairs up with vocalist Zahra for a pair of tough tracks on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax this June featuring a remix from Stockholm’s Tiger Stripes.

Since his humble beginnings several years ago the Newcastle-born artist has cemented a reputation for consistency, with releases appearing on the likes of Hot Creations, Moon Harbour, VIVa MUSiC,
Avotre, Madtech and Gruuv. As a DJ he’s been making regular appearances across Europe, including venues such as Watergate Berlin, Sankeys Ibiza, Brixton Academy London, not to mention festivals such as Hideout.

‘Taking Over Me’ is a dark and moody roller from the get-go. Robust drums and mesmerizing atmospherics form its basis whilst Zahra’s soulful vocals and a cavernous low-end rumbles throughout to its rhythm as a piercing vocal and metallic elements ebb in and out of the mix. Tiger Stripes then provides a crunchy remix of ‘Taking Over Me’, distorting Zahra’s vocals whilst incorporating tantalizing synths into his own stomping rendition.

Nuthiya started her love affair with dance music in 1999. From seeing her favorite dj’s at raves and concerts, to being surrounded by them on a regular basis, her desire to get behind the turntables herself came very naturally. Djing since 2004, Nuthiya has been increasingly recognized as a notorious advocator of top quality house music, indiscriminate of sub genres or trends that evolve and revolve around today’s fast-paced dance music and club culture movements around the world. 
Inspired by the likes of Car Cox, Bookashade, Todd Terje, Heidi , Richie Hawtin and many others, Nuthiya fearlessly takes to the decks to cultivate a completely unique and alluring style of her own. Her stylish and refined selection covers the broad spectrum from deep sexy house to disco and soulful techouse to more energetic minimal/ funky techno, all mixed in a constantly engaging, moving and uplifting dexterity which suggests a rare maturity in understanding and appreciation of the different sounds of electronic dance music. This unique talent has quickly made a name for her in the underground dance music and club scene in the region, and for the past 5 years have seen her continually deliver stunning sets to an ever growing fanbase, playing in the best clubs at home in Kuala Lumpur and also attracting overseas bookings in more exotic places from Bali Indonesia, Hanoi Vietnam, Singapore, Sabah & Sarawak and Dubai. Building a strong reputation and following with her immaculate music selection, effortless grace on the decks and dynamic and energetic stage presevnce and repoire with the crowds wherever she performs. 
In 2011 , she was invited by the Barasti Beach Club in Dubai to be one of the clubs resident DJs and Barasti Angels. Performing to a mainly international audience on a nightly basis have further developed her talent and passion for moving dancefloors. Here, she demonstrates deeper her versatility as a DJ and performer, broadening her musical palette to explore also the best in soul/ funk and more slower grooves and moods, and mixed seamlessly into the more energetic sounds of house that she is already well known for. The has created not only a mind opening and inspiring blend but at the same time has allowed her to gain a more profound understanding of the myriad types of music being played in clubs around the world and what people like on the dancefloors, allowing her to entertain and educate her audiences in equal measures.
Nuthiya’s personal mission to tear up more dancefloors around the world has also found her in the studio with her first forays into music production. Determined to bring a slice of her special unique background and tastes to a wider audience around the world, she is busy working on her upcoming tours of Europe, China and India. This sassy DJ has her eyes on the global dance music/ club arena and constantly works to hone her sound and craft as a dj into an art form.
