Hello you, I’m Funes.


q. is there a story behind the mix? how did it come together?

The story behind the mix is that this year I had to say goodbye to two important people in my life. I recorded the mix during this difficult time to process the whole thing a little bit. It was an evening where I tried to bring light and dark together and let the feelings run free.


q. in your opinion, what would be the ideal circumstances to enjoy 
your mix?

Put on headphones and close your eyes no matter what circumstances are going on.


q. describe a favourite object in your living room...

The Windows.


q. are you working on any projects right now (music or not music)?

At the moment I don't have a bigger music project in front of me. Maybe I will release some own productions here on Soundcloud/Bandcamp. But I'm going to be out in nature a lot in the near future to focus on myself, to calm down, to clear my mind and to look ahead.

SABIWA (@sabiwa)  is an experimental electronic producer and audio-visual performer.  

Already being part of IIH-3 in 2019 auf AEG with a stunning performance, she hasn’t stopped producing records since, and dissects sounds from natural and synthetic sources, making them interact with complex texture and abstract patterns, also using her voice processed as a guiding path in her compositions. 
She also curates live visuals for her performances. 
She has composed soundtracks for art performance and film, collaborating with numerous artists and musicians. SABIWA works between Berlin, Taipei and Copenhagen as an audio-visual producer.
Having immersed in a chaotic live recently but still having partly brisk peace of mind, she embodies a great listening piece, that should also catch the vibe of her coming album Island No.16 and the previous remix of Kinkgong's (@kinkgong) music.
Until the new album is out enjoy her last one called PINK, which was released on Soul Feeder (@soul_feeder) in 2022.

ABOUT_SPECTRUM: We as humans rely on waves as a physical element. Through waves we can hear and see, especially colours. Colours have a great impact on our feelings and emotions, as well as sounds. IIH SPECTRUM combines these two aspects. Our goal is to present different colours of electronic music and blend them into all parts of the rainbow. We want to show you the full spectrum of our city and beyond!
