At just four years old, I was welcomed into a family that gave me love, stability, and siblings to grow alongside, after my birth mother walked away. My adopted mum and dad never looked back, raising me as their son and shaping the man I am today.

Life, however, brought heartbreak. My dad passed suddenly from a heart attack, and just two weeks later my nan followed. Years later, as I tried to rebuild a bond with my mum, dementia stole her memory of me before she too passed away. Losing them all left me drifting, questioning, and carrying the weight of lies and distance from the past.

This track is my way of honoring them—their love, their sacrifices, and the family they gave me. It’s about grief, regret, and resilience, but also about gratitude for the people who step in and change your life forever.

Featuring the heartfelt vocals of Louis Dean, Still Can’t Believe You’re Gone speaks to anyone who has lost someone irreplaceable. It’s a reminder that even in pain, we can carry their legacy forward and make them proud.
