3 of the better #emorevival releases of this summer include some b-type male relationship agency that I've found refreshing and is kind of opposite of the stereotypical "emo" lyrical thread, hence a defensive shift.

ON TOUR WITH EMPIRE EMPIRE RIGHT NOW, GO SEE THEM. I saw them on their first tour with Dikembe this winter and thought they were a total copycat mess, but with their LP its really hard to deny the lead singer's voice.
