Now back in full swing after over a decade away from music which saw him overcome a series of intense personal tribulations, Nottingham’s Nail continues to deliver a highly addictive, distinctively British take on house music. Following on in the heritage of his hometown forged by the likes of Digs & Woosh, Inland Knights and the classic Tyrant nights, the quirky, left-of-centre tech house that he creates feels even more noteworthy in an age where the genre’s name has been bastardised beyond belief. Having graced the likes of Classic, Soma, 20:20 and Robsoul and many others under various pseudonyms, he has honoured Monologues. with a slew of yet-to-be-released exclusvies on his own 89:GHOST imprint and other recently baked cuts, taking us on a ride through chunky basslines and off-kilter grooves.

After running Dennis Ferrer's Objektivity imprint, touring on the international DJ circuit and building an impressive portfolio of remixing credits and collaborative releases over many years, André Hommen is now spreading his wings as a fully-fledged ar- tist.

'Introspectral', his third solo release, show- cases a producer who has fine-tuned his talents over a long period of time and - as the portmanteau title suggests - both reflected intensely and explored a broad spectrum of sounds.

The aquatic bass pulses of the title track, topped with cycling loops, surging drones and melancholy chords, paves the way for a dancing riff that will surely have hands re- aching for the air. With its textbook builds and sweeping dynamics, it's an impeccably rendered and dazzlingly hypnotic groove.

On the more introspective, bass-heavy Dub, Hommen weaves a web of gritty arpeggios and chiming synths whose intricacy is un- veiled in a long, beatless breakdown.

Last up, the writhing sub bass and Mor- se code pings of 'Centrifuge' cast an air of Hitchcockian menace: prelude to a cre- scendo of bright synths and blinding light as the machine revs up to maximum velocity.

Born in Lahore Pakistan in the late 80's, Hassan Mallik has been obsessed with music from his early days, and discovered his passion for Electronica in the 2000's. 
Despite having very little exposure of electronic music in a country like Pakistan, where Electronic music was not very popular at the time he kept himself in line with international Dj’s and music trends all over the world.

The Hungarian-based ITOM Records launched its activities at the beginning of 2012. Nortio, one half of the Moti Brothers and head of the Label began writing music in the beginning of 2000. At first he was inspired by Techno music but in 2007 his love for deep-house music grew stronger and he made the obvious shift in his musical direction. The Label's sound focuses on the deeper shades of House Music and Nortio along with the Label's management will mutually decide on what gets releases and published. It is certain, that the listeners and DJ's who are looking for high standard, sophisticated electronic music, will often glean ITOM Records' musical catalog.
