Hey, finally had some time to actually make a song tonight. This is kinda rough but it's some chilled out acid house with the model:cycles and TD-3. Video incoming!

Having a little more fun with this combo, really enjoying myself! I'll probably hook the TD-3 into the modular too, get some awesome sounds out of that.But enjoy another little jam here! There's a video of this over on my youtube!

Tight Drift

Alright, here's a little slice of me trying really poorly to make a track that has a few more sections than just one 64 step pattern lol. I really got to work on some more stuff like this, though I'm getting closer and closer to selling the cycles and nutting up to buy a machinedrum. Cause holy shit that'd be incredible for sure.

But anyways, have me trying to make weird percussion and also testing out my new Fostex MN-50 compressor on the TD-3 for extra crunchy bass lines!

Strange Waves

hey hey! I'm back to music making, sorry been feeling a bit run down the past week or so and had a lot going on, so no music! However, I wanted to finally do some sample flipping on the octa, so enjoy whatever this mess is lol. Video accompanying as per usual, find it in the normal spot.

The Move

I sampled in one of my own songs this time to make the little chord stabs here! I think it's Night Ride or something, the first so many brass chords there. Then some lovely dreamy reverbs and delays, plus I slowed everything down on the tape player to get it nice and t h i c c

Muckin around with some different themes on this one, also nearly forgot I had some variation programmed in on the kick lol. Really dig messing with those gong/cymbal sounds, they make for perfect drones, especially through FX.

This is of course the Octa driving and mixing the main drum sounds and aux stuff, then going out to the studio 400 for compression and flanging on the aux stereo outs. That would be the TD-3 line and some particularly squelchy gong sounds. Then the Rytm is doing it's own thing into the Octa. I've got an MN-50 compressor on the TD-3 as per tradition.

kinda lack

Doing some more wonky stuff, this is some weirdly sinister sounding house. Kinda appropriate for the season, eh?
