Miami Based producer, Juan Jose Archila born in Bogota, has been captivated by all kinds of music since birth. During his childhood, Archila enjoyed the very simple, yet amusing sound of the drums. In pursuit of his musical adventure as a child, Archila turned to the guitar to venture into new dimension of sounds, as well as many other instruments. But musically Juan felt empty. No instruments, or any sort of musical genre explored by him was able to catalyzed love, or quench his musical thirst until 2007. At the age of 18, Archila traveled to Miami, the City were he found his musical passion for Electronic music, and never looked back. He has been sharing his talents with the world since 2009. A carrier that is rising very quickly, Archila says that performing live sets, and creating music is his vocation. "Vocation is the point were talent and passion cross together". Archila defines his style of music as Percussive deep tech house with a touch of sexiness, and is proud to share with the world that he has been part of the Underground Musical movement in Miami for the past years. Archila has unbelievable talent behind decks; his ability sense the energy from the crowd, and nourish it into his sets is astonishing. The modern era of music has given us enigmas and artists of all shapes and forms who break the norm in unexpected ways. baez is one such artist who epitomizes the essence of the times. A multi-talented DJ and producer born in New Jersey, raised in the Dominican Republic, and currently based in Miami, FL, baez is creating music that pushes the envelope, igniting emotions and musical nuances that stretch the human imagination to its very limit. 

Born Jason Baez, his love for collecting electronic music quickly turned into more than just a passion and became a full-on career. He was named Miami's Best DJ in 2013 by Miami New Times, which characterized him as “the hardest-working DJ in Miami.” baez also held a residency at the legendary venue, The Electric Pickle, served as a former partner in NYC-based promoter and talent agency, Bespoke Musik, and currently hosts his Fordel podcast series on FriskyRadio’s groundbreaking electronic music internet radio and DJ mix subscription service. His DJ sets take audiences on a journey, providing a deeper message through music. His exceptional programming skills interweave the sounds to create an immersive experience that transcends the ordinary. He is one of those artists with the rare ability to tell a story with music. 

baez has played in many countries around the world and has shared the DJ booth with some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Bedouin, Maceo Plex, Damian Lazarus, DJ Tennis, and Jamie Jones, just to name a few. He has also made waves with releases under major labels such as Nie Wieder Schlafen, Magician on Duty, Constant Circles, and LNDKHN. His remix of Urmet K & The Lazarusman’s “The Meeting,” released with Magician on Duty, peaked at #8 on Beatport’s Top 100 Deep House Chart, received a lot of plaudits from industry experts, and garnered widespread support from top DJs. 

In 2020, he co-founded the record label Minds Alike with Samihe. They are cultivating a community of like-minded artists who share a similar acoustic expression within the electronic music space. The label is already gaining traction, with multiple releases all charting on Beatport’s Top 100. 

With his rich musical knowledge, baez plays sets and produces music that spans multiple genres. His style features an amalgamation of sounds that comprise a uniquely constructed piece of musical artistry. His sound exhibits his versatility and prowess as a producer and a DJ, and it will surely cement his storytelling style, showcasing the varied expressions of his musical ideas and artistic craft. This is the music that will push the boundaries of our perception and inspire and drive us to introspective conversations.

It wasn’t until he moved to New York, however, that he would attend his first underground party and find the sound that would capture him and inspire him to step behind the decks himself. His music blends a focus on the low end frequencies with a melodic, sometimes melancholic touch. The end result is just as suited to a nightclub dancefloor as a desert sunset, with enough versatility for everything in between.  With the upcoming creation of Bespoke Musik’s record label in early 2021, expect to hear Christian’s first original productions, as well as a preview of his upcoming music project. Deeper Sounds was launched by Andy Eastough in October 2012. Starting out as a monthly Mix Series followed shortly after by a weekly Radio Show on Radio Dream in Leeds.

As the brand became more popular there was a need for more shows so a move to Mixlr took place in May 2013 which increased the weekly broadcasts to 5. 

In April 2015 a brand new weekly show launched on 06AM Ibiza Underground Radio. This gave the brand a much better reach and was starting to attract more established Artists that would help the show to grow.

The real turning point for Deeper Sounds happened in April 2017 with the launch of an exclusive Inflight Radio Show on British Airways airing in partnership with International Music Summit (IMS) & ÏUMAG Ibiza. 

Firmly establishing itself as one of the top Inflight Radio Shows it wasn’t long before more Deeper Sounds content was being added. In May 2018 a further 4 shows were added to British Airways.

In October 2018 Deeper Sounds launched a weekly show on Mambo Ibiza Radio. Broadcasting directly from the world famous Cafe Mambo.

Exactly 2 years after launching on British Airways Deeper Sounds confirmed the addition of Emirates Inflight Radio. This enabled further expansion around the globe taking it's monthly inflight audience reach to around 4.5 Million.

December 2019 would see the launch of a weekly show on Pure Ibiza Radio. The station founded by Ibiza legend David Moreno has gone on to establish itself on the island as well as attracting listeners around the globe.

Currently Deeper Sounds is working on the launch of its very own Radio Station which can be listened to exclusively via the Deeper Sounds App and will be available via the Apple Store in early 2022.
