Her work has been featured in Best American Science Writing as well as Salon, Modern Farmer and Nautilus.

Scott produces radio stories for programs like Marketplace, The World and Living on Earth. She has been a correspondent for several California stations. Scott is a former editor at NPR member station KALW San Francisco.

Her 23-minute BBC World Service radio documentary, BON VOYAGE, was an award-winning entry in the BBC’s ‘Real America’ series. It aired across Britain and the U.S. in fall 2012 was nominated for a 2012 Sony Radio Academy Award.
