Jacob Meehan & Father Figure are in town to play the new room Studio at Basement for Wrecked.  Meehan joins us from Berlin, where he organizes WHOLE Festival & Buttons.  Mark Louque is also a long time event organizer, throwing Fagbash in Provincetown and Trap Only in New Orleans.  During the pandemic these two started Nightshade, a radio program on Cape Cod Public Radio.

There is a special place that my friends and I frequent during the summer months. This place is looked after by two very special individuals that I love dearly. They open their home to us every year and provide their guests with a space to relax and just be ourselves. When August approaches I know the time we spend together will be coming to close and I can't help feeling a little melancholy. Every year I find that this place brings so many people together as friends, lovers or both. I made this mix to commemorate those moments I shared with my chosen family and friends. Each track was handpicked and has special meaning to me - especially the vocal songs. As the days get colder I can pull this mix up and smile knowing that next summer is just around the corner...

Jared Lorenzo is an actor and DJ who plays music under the moniker Antonio BenRush. Originally from Los Angeles but now based in Berlin, he has worked on international film and TV productions. Upon moving across the Atlantic he started a party called Suede which had its home at the beautiful club Beate Uwe. Wonderful DJs like Murat Tepeli, Telephones, Jesse G, Christian Burkhardt, and Castro to name a few have been on the bill. Inspired by R & B of the 90s and his love for dance music, he has curated his sound melding the two in many of his sets, and continues to defy the stereotypes of what it means to be a "good DJ". He is the founder of Sooner Or Lady, a film production company and record label, and is currently curating a mix series "The Color of Sound.

We had heard so much about Scooter, and this was his first set for us. Wow, what a slammer. It goes into fun uptempo housey tracks, electro, techno and everywhere nice. Definitely a huge new hit at the beach and a great anchor for this special day when Honcho were the visiting headliners for the day.
