Holyyy crap you guys it's finally out. The Weighted Wings EP resulted from my 5 days of flow exercise, where I vlogged the creative process behind the whole EP. From the idea to the artwork, graphics, and songwriting, here she is in all her glory!

WEIGHTED WINGS EP

This is my first release & a major leap in the Asper project. I am releasing this song on the 1st of the year as a marker of the start of my production journey. The track is titled "Play the Hero" because playing the hero has been a habit of mine in the past and it's a part of me that I want to fully embrace. Playing the hero has led me to experiences and lessons that have dramatically shaped who I am and how I view the world.

This track ultimately serves as experimentation. I wanted to make something unique and different from my normal style as I pursue "my sound" as an artist. This track was inspired by the Tech House/Bass House hybrid songs on repeat in my playlist. Artists like Eleganto & No Thanks were my biggest inspirations on this one.

This song echoes from the deepest chamber of my heart as I swim through this emotional space and define "it" in my own way.
