Matt O'Rourke - Chrono Cross: Star-Stealing Girl Cover

A hang drum is metallic instrument with great resonating characteristics. Google it! 
I always wanted to emulate the sounds of it........and so I did. I also always wanted to do a short cover of the opening scene from Chrono Trigger, a 1995 RPG game. I decided to do both in one. 

The wave samples were generated by Andreas Bick. The instrument pack was arranged by Lee Holmes using the wave samples. The pack used samples of PanArt's hang drum. I combined the sounds with strikes against metal bowls to give it a more realistic hang drum sound since the wave files only brought out the resonance characteristic. This was a project of its own! I am currently looking to own a set of these drums one day.
