Chrom Recordings EP nr 40 is from Sam Albasini aka Aston Alba, a producer & DJ from Switzerland. In 2018 he released his first singles and EP's on Trippy Code and Inlab. Pretty soon his style of music evolved from melancholic & hypnotic techno into a mix of mystic atmospheres and Middle Eastern sounds resulting in releases on Grrreat & Aftertech. And in this style he presents us now his "Mesopotamia" EP on Chrom Recordings, consisting of 2 original tracks "Tigris" & "Euprates", completed with 3 very powerful remixes.

For "Euphrates" we asked an artist we already wanted to add to our roster for some time: Aaron Suiss, from Washington DC, but now currently residing in Thailand. Aaron Suiss describes his style of music as Progressive Melodic House/Techno. Aaron is currently working as the A&R & Label Manager of Outta Limits Recordings, one of the leading Progressive House labels a round and the imprint of Stan Kolev & Matan Caspi. Next to his output on Outta Limits he also has released on Revolt, Harabe & O'Tawa. For this remix Aaron teams up with Q.U.A.K.E aka Netanel Asraf from Israel.

Berk Teoman is an Istanbul-based DJ and music director whose journey into music began at a young age through percussion instruments, particularly the darbuka. This rhythmic foundation later merged with his passion for electronic music, giving his performances a distinctive and energetic character. Specializing in Progressive House, Melodic Techno, Deep House, Tech House, and Minimal Deep Tech, Berk crafts sets that blend groove-driven transitions with emotional and atmospheric depth.

He has performed across Turkey in cities like Istanbul, Bodrum, Fethiye, and Erdek, playing at renowned venues such as Klein Garten, Kafes Kilyos, Sumahan, Roompera, Ruby Fethiye, and Sarnıç Beach. In addition to clubs, he has played numerous private house events, VIP gatherings, and after parties, consistently connecting with curated audiences. His mixes on digital platforms have reached tens of thousands of listeners. In the summer of 2025, he serves as the music director of a luxury venue in Bodrum, also managing domestic and international DJ & artist bookings.
