Toronto rapper Boy Pape (FKA Brick Grillins) is releasing his first single of 2020 on April 3, 2020. Since his ‘Get it like’ release in 2018, Pape has toured with frequent collaborator Francesco Yates as they opened up for Justin Timberlake’s “The Man of The Woods” tour. Then, Immersing himself into the world of acting with a brief cameo in Netflix’s Polar, Pape finished off 2019 by wrapping up a yet to be titled series for the streaming powerhouse. 
 
The single “Courtcase” speaks to living a reckless lifestyle while pushing the boundaries of the law. The video foreshadows his journey to a night of lawlessness.  
 
Production for “Courtcase” is provided by Trappy Gilmore who is a Canadian born Producer, 
Mixing-Engineer. Creative direction for both cover art and video were handled by AMthruPM (Jered Harrison). The Ottawa native, is the creative mind behind visuals for some of today’s biggest names in music. From creative directing for Lil Uzi Vert, to designing stage visuals for Young Thug, AMthruPM continues to capture the attention of both fans and artists alike.

Following months of development with Francesco Yates (a close friend and collaborator), Pape made a surprise appearance during Yates’ opening performance at Justin Timberlake's Man of the Woods tour stop in Toronto. 
 
Pape's fashion sense is as forward-thinking, expressive and diverse as his musical style. He recently walked in the Fashion Forward 6 runway show wearing Canadian label Mer Des Dieux and worked with G-Star Raw to showcase their collaboration with Jaden Smith at his appearances on tour. He also played a small role in the Netflix feature film Polar starring Mads Mikkelsen and Vanessa Hudgens.
