Game Ain’t Based on Sympathy is DECiBEL’s debut for the Slit Jockey label and his sound is perfect for the label’s aesthetic of forward moving street bass and grime. DECiBEL - WOT - Out Now!!!

DECiBEL is back with his third release of 2013, after support from the likes of Luckyme’s Eclair Fi Fi and The Blessings, DECiBEL's latest release is GLUT out 10th June 2013 – his second release on the Speakerbox label.

‘Glut’ is another DECiBEL filtered Trap banger, showcasing the future of the genre and shaking festival arenas on Speakerbox stages across the country. DECiBEL’s swirling synths and swaggered out California Love-esque melodies are delivered on top of his signature driving bass.

Supported by the B side ‘Goonz’ championed on NTS & KISS FM via Moxie, the DECiBEL summer takeover is in stage two of operations. After already this year being hand picked to support an A-Trak B2B Just Blaze spectacular at Fabric and tearing up We Are FSTVL with the rest of the Speakerbox Fam.

Whirl' takes a giddying tone from the offset as it's fast, percussive drum machine hits build pace to millitant and forceful effect - like a turbo-charged, mid-90s Richie Hawton cut, reimagined by fresh ears. Woozy snare rolls crash in over the weighted subs, instantly lighting the dance floor on fire upon impact.

WHIRL - FALCHION EP - TECTONIC

'Poke', retains the techno-retro themes of 'Whirl', layering up the percussive parts to dramatic effect as acid lines flit and flirt around them. The heat rises and builds, then drops to nothing for a brief, deceptive moment - crashing in again with off-kilter momentum.
