Caldera's sense of rhythms, texture & the overall hypnotic & dubby sides of techno is something I’ve always been super inspired by. A special mix from our resident Minù Jr. to celebrate the equinox.

Description : 
Minù Jr is a multi-faceted project, in constant evolution, always looking for new influences. His two techno-sounding EPs, Ostinato and Electronic Pulses, reveal the artist's discovery of electronic music production.
In the last one, Electronic Pulses, he presents his singularly audacious vision of techno with four tracks with different atmospheres.
This year, Minù Jr joins the roster of the Lyon-based collective/label Monochrome and increases the BPM towards a synthetic drum n bass tinged with dub. The programmer of Chalet Perché (which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year) continues his discovery with several strings to his bow and arrows always well sharpened.

Accents Records' 25-track compilation celebrates electronic music diversity and showcases an impressive lineup of established and upcoming talents from around the world. The French record label has curated a collection of tracks that span different genres and styles, showcasing the versatility and richness of electronic music. The compilation offers a journey through different moods and emotions, from rumbling techno to ambient soundscapes.

'Amok,' by Itae Records co-founder, Inerit, is just one of the many standout tracks on this ambitious project. It exemplifies the quality and diversity of the music that can be found in this compilation. The track opens with a subdued bassline and gradually builds up with the addition of atmospheric soundscapes, glitchy percussion, and hypnotic field recordings. It is our absolute pleasure to announce the first compilation on QEONE.

This wonderful collection of tracks is really unique as all pieces are based on one concept which is completely sound design oriented. The idea behind this release series is to have one material or substance which will then be interpreted by the artists. For this very first compilation we chose the material Wood.

In the end the artists will also reveal some specific techniques which they used for the production of each track to transform this project also into a skill sharing platform for followers to learn from and get inspired. It offers a great opportunity to get insight into various approaches to one topic.

Cafe de la Jungle produced a minimal influenced dancefloor tool ‚QMMF‘ which has a crystal clear yet organic sound aesthetic. The high wooden textures and tones give this piece an amazing tension which sucks the listener right into it.

Italian duo Davide Perrone and Gabriele Giuggioli have been releasing music as Primal Code for 5 years now, consistently illustrating vivid atmospheric dub techno soundscapes with varying degrees of energy. 

With releases on Hypnus Records and Kalahari Oyster Cult, in addition to many VA compilations, the duo’s productions have become a staple in deep techno sets for the past few years.

Today we premiere their new track “Adansonia”, the opener from GLYPHS:WOOD, the next release on Polygonia’s Munich-based Qeone imprint. The track is more glitchy than the duo’s previous work, but features their signature sounds that are equal parts intergalactic, dreamy, aquatic.

Pipiltzintzintli EP is designed as a concept-opus around the notion of psychedelia in electronic music. It is conceived exclusively using sounds from hardware synthesizers and modular systems.

 The repetitive motifs are chosen here for their organic and cerebral aspect; they act physically on the listener, the intention being to seek out sounds that act like active principles, like psychotrops. The idea is also to maintain a rather minimalist approach, with reduced use of percussive and/or melodic elements. Multilayering is used here to access a deeper sonic dimension, to tap into the inner self, a mental image like an imaginary, unconscious landscape. 

There's also an acidic dimension to the album, with references to a whole section of the history of repetitive electronic music: Warp's pre-2000s period with LFO and the distinctive sound of early Plastikman are particularly present here. The opus is rounded off by the unique touch of producer friends Gëinst, Inerit and Accou, who all revisit a track of their choice in their own way.
