This is 90% the selection played at Outro Lado on Thursday afternoon at Waking Life 2022. Thanks to the fantastic crowd for the open-mindedness and the energetic dancing. Also much appreciated the various personal feedback!

The Outro Lado Session

Born and raised in Germany, with roots in Ghana and Togo and always immersed in Afro music, she found peace and sense of community in exploring all kinds of sounds and rhythms of the broad african diaspora - baile funk, hip hop, amapiano, house and more. T's new found love of DJing stems from their experience of being a black queer person in the diaspora without a real safe(r) club space where you get back to what partying is actually about – dancing and a liberating time in community. In 2022 she made it to her mission to close that gap and eventually create the space where especially marginalized people of all ways of life can come together and forget about life for a while. Now on a mission to bring the spice of her culture to their fellow queers and music lovers, Trigger T will make sure you'll leave the dance floor drenched in sweat.

da:sypoda is a DJ, soundartist, booker, cultural collaborator, artistic researcher and co-host of the "TBD - To be defined" events at @Schick, Mainz together with @dom.waits. 
She played venues in the Rhein-Main-Region like Schick, Dorett Bar, Haus Mainusch in Mainz or Pracht in Frankfurt and Festivals like the AA near Worms, TropenTango in Hessen or the AWARA Festival in Baden-Wuerttemberg. For more than 3 years she has been playing mixed devices and is also now planing events with the @alforno_mz. Her sound is influenced by a various genre mixing, starting from Deep House, Disco and House to Dub infused Baile Funk, Dembow, Deep Tec, Breakbeat and Experimental. As a genre fluid artist, who also works with @idaflux as sound artist and performer on the balance of bodily involvement and improvisations, her sets are always percussive and with a deep and playful selection of ear opening break outs, as an invitation to step out of comfort zones and move into deep listening.
