-- on "the sunshine" --
i have been spending the last couple years trying to get better at writing songs and melodies after growing up making bass music. "the sunshine" was the first song i had written that felt releasable to me. it all started from a sample from @itsdemotapes (which are littered across this album). so it made sense to open the album with. i love that this is a mix of HUGE drums and then softer textures and melodies.
