Happily dwelling amongst the moodier sides of 2-Step, UKG and jungle, Club Angel has cut a name for himself since the release of his debut EP, '6AM' (out via Astral People Recordings) whilst whipping up remixes and edits for the likes of Fred Again.., North East Party House and a beloved anthemic rework of 'Make Me'. With 2023 already having featured performances at Pitch Music & Arts, Digi Culture & Music and Xe54 - plus a forthcoming upcoming national tour in support of Sam Alfred and a debut set at LS on the horizon - it's safe to say this mix has been compiled by one of our favourite angels. In his own words:

“I’ve included a few of my own tracks in this mix, but the one that gets me most excited is an unreleased one titled ‘5ive’. It’s a bit of a warper; the perfect mix of hard house and speed garage.

An artist I’ve recently discovered is UK-based, Jack Swift. I randomly stumbled across his edit of Lennie De Ice’s track ‘We Are I.E’ and waited at least 4 months for it to come out. I’ve also included an unreleased one from Naarm’s Airwolf Paradise titled ‘Revolver’ - it’s an absolute highlight to play in any set.

The track I’m most looking forward to playing at Lost Sundays is my edit of the iconic Denham Audio track, ‘Make Me’. Everyone ends up singing along so it always makes for a beautiful moment.” - @clubangel
