Chill

Tu Wa Lii is an intimate spoken-word piece built on ukulele, voice, and subtle electronic air.
A song about movement without destination, presence without explanation.

The lyrics dissolve into a fantasy language, sound before meaning, breath before words.
Nothing is performed. Nothing is proven.

This track was created intuitively, letting intention pass through voice, instrument, and machine.
A quiet space between endings and beginnings.


Tu Wa Lii



The two of them sat side by side at their desk
Outside the window the spring wind drifted softly
and cherry blossoms fell one petal at a time

Yet the notebook open before them
remained completely blank

“Sustainable heart”
That was the theme of their pair test

Society and the environment were easy to imagine
but the heart could not be seen

Haruto held his pen and let out a small breath
Kanon closed her reference book and looked toward the cherry trees outside

“Hey”
“What do you think it means for a heart to be sustainable”

After a short pause Kanon answered

“I don’t think it means staying strong forever”
“It’s being able to say it’s okay to stop when you’re tired”

Haruto gently wrote her words into the notebook

“Society is supported by people’s actions
and those actions are moved by the heart”

“Yeah”
“Kindness toward others
and the ability to think about the future
none of it lasts if the heart is worn down”

A breeze passed
and the cherry branches swayed outside the window

“So”
Haruto spoke slowly

“A sustainable heart
might mean not only caring for others
but also protecting your own heart”

Kanon looked at him with a hint of surprise

“I think that’s really important”
“A heart that keeps blaming itself
can’t keep running for long”

“But caring only about yourself isn’t right either”

“Right”
“So it’s balance
Accepting yourself
and supporting someone else”

New words began to fill the notebook

Self acceptance
Compassion
The ability to embrace change

“When the heart is full
people stop being afraid of someone’s differences”

“Differences stop being threats
and become lessons”

Their voices had grown quiet and calm without them noticing

“Hey Kanon”
“Isn’t this exactly what our pair test has been about”

Kanon smiled

“Yeah
That’s why what we want to propose
is a society that supports the growth of the heart”

“A society built on the idea that people grow with people”

In the margin of the notebook
a small cherry blossom was drawn

It was not a theme with an easy answer
but

the time they spent thinking together
wandering together
searching for words together

was already
the practice of a sustainable heart

Outside the window
the cherry blossoms fell
moving toward the next season

Without fearing change
while supporting one another

the heart too
quietly opened its petals toward the future
