Contributing to this cause are a host of exciting artists, across a wide spectrum of underground bass music genres. OUT TOMORROW! Bun The Grid returns for Round 007 with this deadly concoction courtesy of TMSV with remix’s from A.Fruit aka Russia’s Most Wanted and BTG’s Head Honcho Bulu. The release fully spans BTG’s exploratory approach to music, a no-holds barred aesthetic. Today we are premiering Bulu’s Remix of Mountain (wait here), sticking true to the labels style this remix has flipped the original right on its head and cranked the tempo +30bpm. This track combines styles you wouldnt expect, fusing jump up / foghorn style bass’s with broken beat halftime grooves, ominous effects and random bursts of amens. I love when producers reference different styles and join the dots between them to create something instantly recognisable/enjoyable but also
unique and refreshing. Legend has it Bulu created these rare refined foghorns in the london underground network, repeatedly echo-ing TMSV’s original bass’s between stations, until they had soaked up that dirty UK flavour and grit. [PREMIERE] TMSV - Mountain (Wait Here) (Bulu Remix)

Quarantine Sonic Squad is a collective uniting many electronic producers and musical activists in France (and beyond), born under the epidemic era and brought together by Tim Karbon. Its aim is to create a musical corpus that has its roots in today's electronic / club music phenomenon, regardless of genre attributions of any kind.

QSS VOL. 2 "LOCKDOWN COMBAT" is our new militant album, following the initial "DAL de Vivre" project which was thought as a musical tool to gather funds and waving public attention upon bad housing problematics in France, increased by the COVID-19 pandemic. This first opus was released in May 1st of 2020 & quickly gained critical / media acclaim from the like of Resident Advisor, CouvreXChefs, SeekSickSound, Dure Vie...

After uniting our energies to work with the DAL - Droit Au Logement ("right to housing") french association, which is helping oppressed and homeless people to get safe spaces to live in, we are now joining forces with the BAAM, another solidarity collective based in Paris. They are providing to all refugees & migrants a juridic, cultural and social support through french classes, administrative help and housing solutions, among many other things. They have also created a LGBTQIA+ safe-space for asylum seekers facing daily homophobia or transphobia.

This 49-tracks album is our personal tribute to all the people threatened by governmental actions with the hunting of refugees, to all victims of police brutality & systemic racism. Spreading sonic love to all our brothers and sisters who face state violence and neoliberal laws that place economic growth of the few above the right to live with dignity for all human beings. The whole piece will be exclusively downloadable on Bandcamp for a low price, with all funds going to the BAAM to help them on militant and activism aspects.
