Leonel Maduro, known to many in the local industry as Lion, has been hitting the scene and making his mark on executives, artists, and the public with a big impact. For many years Lion has been exposed to the industry on many levels. Early in life unbeknownst to him, he would be introduced to music by his mother because of her love for church and gospel music. He joined the choir and knew from that point on that he loved it more than anything else, at that time. Music would be his waya new world of artistry. On his own, Lion learned the pureness of gospel and later, the secular world of rap and r&b. Writing songs like: "looking for love" as well as "no one's home" to "don't make me a murderer", Lion showed his talents. But Lion wrote music in all three genres before he knew how to master it. With love and persistence Lion made it his mission to get his music to the masses by pedaling his mixtape called "Trap Music" from his
 barbershop chair, his clippers became his segway into great shows, new meetings, and on the lips of everyone in the neighborhood as his music played loudly after hours from the barbershop speakers ( of course he upgraded the speakers often). With personalities like Maria Davis and Angela Yee and others requesting his presence at different venues and radio stations to show off his dynamic performance skills, Lion has done a lot in his short career. Proving to be a master wordsmith, artists have sought him out for help with their bodies of work, so being called to the studio has been a great motivation as far as his own works and keeps his skills sharp. Strong followers of Lion has learned to appreciate the power of his artistry and the advantages of branding. Not long ago he was creating thought provoking drawings (and seldomnly still does) poetry and love songs. Doing a little dabbling in country music, and still has so much raw energy and talent to share! Lion has really applied pressure as he has taken his talents down south to Charlotte, NC & is gearing up to do something HipHop has never seen before! Literally, the sky is the limit for this young talented act!
