Maki's passion for music started back home in Trinidad, where he was born and raised. Music was his getaway, his place of peace. When he migrated to Florida in 2010, West Palm Beach to be precise, his love for music went from being just a passion and a dream to action and reality. He released his first single called Tonight in early 2018 and his music career had begun. Shortly after, he released several other records including the peoples favorite “Lit“. His music is a mixture of Dancehall, Afrobeats, Soca and R&B (and that’s only the tip of the iceberg). Maki is a diverse artist who was blessed to be able to do music in many other genres. As an independent artist, hard work and dedication are what got him to where he is now. It’s only the beginning.
