The humble kick drum. The foundation on which every good dance record is built. The right ones just work, but pick the wrong one and your track will sound like tomato soup in the club. No one likes tomato soup in the club, trust us.

Kick Drums is Kyle Watson's first release on his new label No Context, and it's one of those records that blows up the DM's after it gets teased. He's dug deep into his satchel of saturated sounds and crafted possibly the biggest foghorn hit this side of the Atlantic. Pair that with a simple vocal repeat and a pulsing kick drum pattern that answers the call, and you've got yourself a club weapon right there.
