I finished this remix about 2 months ago, and I never intended on remixing anything from Brat after hearing the lead singles. Brat is a club album but “So I” has emotional chords and almost no percussion. It’s a perfect tribute to SOPHIE and a challenging song to remix being so far from a dance track… After speeding things up from 116 to 127 BPM, cutting up some vocal chops and adding a melody for the drop, the end result is a very dynamic track thats in a constant flux of feeling
