This is a song I wrote in Arizona and decided to mess with in Massachusetts. My first time experimenting with layers, and I'll probably touch it up later on, but for now, here it is in its raw form.

Cries so loud in the pitch of the night
He told me riddles as he choked on his pipe

“I got lost in the feathery skies
Where the bluebirds swing swoop and fly so high
In the sunshine
In the summertime

I’ve seen them gather and I’ve seen them disperse
In the wintertime they fly away like most other birds
While I just bides my time
Through the winter I’ll be fine

A silhouette up in a frosty tree
The field mice cannot hide from me
‘Cause I’ve got eyes like a hawk and I’ve got the talons to spear

Through their tiny hearts 
And so the hunt it starts
Midnight, ready go get on your marks
Get set get dead
Your life is skipped across like a stone”
