The song is about how the brain sometimes makes everything complicated, but by keeping everything simple it allows someone to find a way through anxiety's and feelings of self-doubt. Creating the song was in the same vain. DIY recorded in the bedroom with live drums recorded with a 4 mic set-up.

This was written at the beginning of the UK Covid-19 lockdown (although you’ll be pleased to hear the song is not about that specifically). The music was inspired by my fascination with bands like Big Thief, Courtney Barnett and Milo Greene. Whilst the lyrics were influenced by a book called Pan by Knut Hamsen.
