Ocean Space

Experimental Ambient R&B Sample. I played the keys live on an old keyboard and then laid the bass down with the same keyboard and added a few simple garageband effects. The drums and percussion effects were created by cutting up a live V-drum recording, rearranging all the pieces and adding some simple garageband effects.

Left for dead

Voodootronic

An idea I had for a song. I played a few different guitar parts laid on top of each other, A faux bass played with a guitar, and drums. I experimented a little with garageband effects on one part of the track. Everything was done with live recordings one at a time. The guitar and bass parts used 1 microphone and the Drums I used two so I could get a little bit of a panning stereo effect. Everything went through a little M-audio box directly into Garageband

Oil Fire

A cover of the beginning of Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix. I played Guitar, Faux Bass (played on guitar), Drums and Sang. I'm not much of a singer so I tried to alter my voice after to make it sound deeper. I only recorded a few parts so the missing parts I cued in the original track. I think it came out sounding pretty interesting and it was a lot of fun to make.

Purple Hazy Haze

I wrote a simple blues guitar line and then jammed to it on my v-drums. The phrasing doesn't really make much sense, I was just experimenting with different drum and guitar settings and this track has a few that I liked.
