Wolfskuil founder Tripeo aka Darko Esser presents four esoteric cuts titled ‘Synergy EP’ on Rekids, including collaborations with Doka (as The Leap) and Clone Basement’s Cadans. 

As Darko Esser the Dutch DJ, producer and label owner has been active for over two decades, helming his illustrious Wolfskuil Records label which has recently hosted records from Shlømo, Cadans and Rumah. Following a series of releases on his eponymously titled Tripeo imprint, Esser’s appearance on Rekids is his 2018 debut and marks his first outing on another label in nearly five years. 

Alongside fellow Dutch producer Cadans, who has releases on Neighbourhood and Clone (when not producer drum and bass as Icicle), ‘Rave Tune’ kicks off in emphatic style, delivering alluringly bright strings and oscillating bass slabs. Esser then pairs up with Doka as The Leap, producing alarming synth swirls and thudding percussion for an energy filled spectacle titled ‘Idiocracy’. 

On the flip, Tripeo balances otherworldly chords with slick drum design in ‘Need For Nuance’ before concluding with ‘Zeitgeist’ with its electro styled groove layered with glistening melodies, eccentric sonics and heavenly leads throughout.

El Atalaya - Struktur Podcast #048

The Berlin-based party series Stützpunkt are starting their new label with „Aleph“. Matrixxman, as well as Stützpunkt’s very own Saturator, Staím and Tymotica are contributing to this first release.

The A-side consists of two main room stompers. „See You In Hell“ takes you on a trip through dystopian worlds, synths pushing you away and pulling you back in before finally letting you go into an ecstatic state at the gates of your destined place. „Dubchord Invasion“ pulls you back out, the chord progressions remind you of old times, sway you into melancholy and then release you into the here and now where you are joyous to be where you are.

The B-side takes a more ravey approach with two dancefloor bombs. „Tridems“ drips of energy that feels like it could keep you going forever, changing it up halfway through, surprising you at every turn, fueling you with new vitality at every chord change or new percussion element. „Access Extortion“ marks the finishing point off all that’s good and bad, no matter which road you’ve been on, facing forward into new beginnings, whilst never looking back, dreaming about all there is to come.

Después de un primer EP del mismo nombre en Black Verb Records en 2017. La etiqueta con sede en Berlín aufnahme + wiedergabe lanzó su nuevo disco en marzo de 2019, donde continúa su viaje hacia un universo donde el alma humana está tratando en vano de encontrar su propia razón de existencia.

Knife presents IV Horsemen, solo project from the french producer Timothée Gainet (half of Poison Point). IV Horsemen is industrialized body music complete with possessed vocals for a sound that infects the deepest corners of the mind.

After a first eponym EP on Black Verb Records in 2017. The berlin-based record aufnahme + wiedergabe released his new record in march 2019, where he continue his journey into a universe where the human soul is vainly trying to find her own reason of existence.
